Minimum 2–3 years in freight forwarding or logistics pricing

JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Pricing Officer to join our remote team. In this role, you will handle freight pricing requests, manage rate negotiations with carriers, and support the sales team with accurate and competitive quotations.
The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of air, sea, and land freight, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple pricing requests efficiently.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2–3 years of experience in freight forwarding pricing or logistics operations
  • Strong understanding of international shipping (air, ocean, land)
  • Proficiency in ERP systems or freight quoting tools
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal English communication
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting
  • Solid organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of Incoterms and shipping documentation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience pricing across major trade lanes (Asia, Europe, Middle East, etc.)
  • Familiarity with customer-specific pricing strategies and SLAs
  • Proficiency in Excel, CRM systems, or logistics platforms (CargoWise, Logitude, etc.)

Responsibilities
  • Process pricing inquiries from agents and clients via email, phone, WhatsApp, or ERP systems
  • Source and negotiate competitive rates with carriers, airlines, and shipping lines
  • Prepare and submit accurate freight quotations in a timely manner
  • Maintain and update rate sheets and pricing databases
  • Collaborate with the Sales & Agent Network team to support client acquisition and retention
  • Analyze market trends to ensure pricing remains competitive
  • Monitor quotation profitability and align pricing with company objectives
  • Assist in developing pricing tools and templates for efficiency
  • Log and track quotations using ERP or freight management systems
  • Coordinate with overseas agents to update local charges and rates
