Remote Profee Coding Specialist Location: Remote Schedule: Full-time Type: Contract with potential for permanent hire Position Overview We are seeking experienced Medical Coders to support an upcoming Epic system migration from Cerner. These coders will assist with day-to-day operations while internal teams transition into training, ensuring continuity and accuracy during this critical implementation phase. Top Skills Required Epic System Medical Coding experience (mandatory) Medical Coding: 5+ years of experience Certifications: CPC, CPCA, RHIT, or CCS-P (at least one required) System Migration Experience: Cerner to Epic Inpatient & Outpatient Coding expertise Specialties Behavioral Health, Hospital Medicine, Fetal Health, Primary Care Clinic, Adolescent Medicine, ENT, Ophthalmology Additional Details Work Environment: Fully remote EVP: Opportunity to join a leading pediatric healthcare provider during a major Epic implementation, with potential for permanent placement. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Houston, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
