Join PALFINGER as our Regional Director, HR Operations and lead a talented team driving excellence across compensation, benefits, payroll, HRIS, global mobility, and our regional HR service center. You’ll play a key leadership role in a global technology company known for its innovative lifting solutions and strong engineering expertise. This is a remote position. to lead with purpose and shape the future of HR at PALFINGER.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR operations experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven success leading compensation, benefits, payroll, and HRIS functions, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Experience with ADP, SuccessFactors, and global mobility practices such as immigration, tax equalization, and assignment cost estimation.
  • Strong experience with payroll and HRIS systems, as well as Microsoft Office tools; Power BI experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated project management and change leadership skills with deep knowledge of regional labor laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% to support regional and global HR initiatives.
Responsibilities
  • Lead regional HR operations across total rewards, HRIS, payroll, and international mobility—driving efficient, compliant, and scalable processes that support business growth.
  • Design and deliver compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain top talent while meeting local requirements and aligning with PALFINGER’s global framework.
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll across multiple countries, managing complexity with precision and accountability.
  • Champion digital HR solutions by driving adoption of HRIS and employee self-service tools, leading regional system rollouts and change management in partnership with global teams.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team while managing international assignments end-to-end, fostering cross-functional collaboration and a culture of excellence.
