As a Sales Development Representative, you will proactively build Payara’s sales pipeline by researching and contacting prospects via phone, email, and LinkedIn to assess mutual fit and qualify leads for the sales team. You will also nurture relationships with potential customers and engage the open-source community to maximize sales opportunities while collaborating with marketing for broader outreach.

Role: Sales Development Representative (SDR)
Seniority: Junior
Location: UK or Europe (100% remote)
Compensation: Rate dependent on local market location and experience

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 1 year of SDR experience within the technology sector.
• At least 1 year of experience tracking and managing activities in a CRM system.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Spanish will be a plus.
• Proven ability to convert leads into viable sales opportunities.
• Demonstrated expertise in outbound prospecting using phone, email, LinkedIn, and other relevant technologies.
• Experience thriving in a remote work environment.
• Track record of successfully working toward and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs).

DESIRABLE TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Proficiency in using HubSpot, LinkedIn and Sales Navigator
