Planate Management Group is hiring an experienced Scheduler to support a high-impact project with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), specifically within its Office of Construction and Facilities Management (CFM). This role plays a critical part in the implementation and maintenance of the VA’s Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) Program, which oversees more than 250 active projects including major medical facility construction, seismic upgrades, and other large-scale initiatives across the VA’s national portfolio.
As a Scheduler, you will work closely with VA project teams and stakeholders to develop, update, and maintain detailed design and construction schedules using Oracle Primavera P6. This is a high-impact opportunity to influence project outcomes and support nationwide infrastructure improvements that directly affect U.S. veterans.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction, Business, or related field or equivalent practical experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of hands-on scheduling experience, particularly using Oracle Primavera P6.
  • Must have any of these certifications: AACE Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP), PMI-SP, or PMP.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform resource loading, critical path analysis, what-if scenarios, and generate custom reports.
  • Proven experience with large construction projects, preferably medical or public-sector facilities.
  • Skilled in using MS Office Suite, Adobe, and Oracle Analytics tools for reporting and visualization.
  • Strong understanding of Total Cost Management (TCM) principles
  • Experience delivering enterprise-wide Primavera P6 scheduling solutions within the last 5 years
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as the GAO Schedule Assessment Guide.
Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and update resource-loaded project schedules in Primavera P6 Enterprise.
  • Integrate new project schedules and templates within the existing IMS framework.
  • Conduct regular coordination meetings with VA CFM teams to review and refine schedules.
  • Analyze current schedule templates to align with updated policies and procedures.
  • Create uniform baseline processes and scheduling risk management modules.
  • Prepare data analytics reports and monthly IMS program updates.
  • Deliver training sessions on scheduling best practices for project managers and stakeholders.
