Are you a highly skilled and adaptable senior systems engineer who excels in managing sophisticated IT environments remotely? Do you possess exceptional expertise in Microsoft cloud technologies, network infrastructure, and providing white-glove technical support, coupled with the flexibility to travel on short notice when required? If so, Gallosky Networks is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to ensure the seamless operation and security of our technology landscape, with occasional travel for critical on-site needs for a family office.
In this pivotal remote role, you will be entrusted with the strategic oversight, implementation, and continuous administration of our Microsoft 365 ecosystem, Microsoft Azure resources, and our wired and wireless networks. You will also be the primary point of contact for providing responsive and professional level one and two technical support to principals and staff, ensuring their technology needs are met with the utmost efficiency and confidentiality. You must also be prepared for occasional travel (0-10%), often with limited notice, to address urgent on-site requirements. Your contributions will be critical in maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our essential IT systems, regardless of location.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in systems administration or engineering roles, with a significant portion dedicated to supporting discerning clientele or executives.
  • Deep and demonstrable expertise in migrating and administering complex Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Proven ability to architect and manage Microsoft Azure virtual machines and a broad range of Azure services.
  • Extensive hands-on experience implementing and managing sophisticated wired and wireless network infrastructures, including advanced security configurations.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and meticulous approach to resolving technical issues.
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and client service skills, with a demonstrated ability to interact professionally and discreetly with high-level individuals remotely and in person.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality.
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage complex projects and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment, coupled with the flexibility for occasional short-notice travel.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Relevant advanced Microsoft certifications.
  • Experience with advanced network security appliances and protocols.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and best practices relevant to sensitive data environments.
  • Experience with enterprise-grade backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Exposure to supporting diverse technology needs within a family office setting.
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Architect, implement, and maintain a secure and highly available Microsoft 365 environment, including advanced configurations of Exchange Online, OneDrive for Business, and Teams.
  • Design, deploy, and manage Microsoft Azure infrastructure, optimizing for performance, security, and cost-effectiveness, including virtual machines, storage, and networking.
  • Implement, configure, and rigorously maintain wired and wireless network infrastructure, ensuring robust connectivity and security.
  • Provide exceptional level one/two/three technical support with a high degree of professionalism and discretion to principals and staff, addressing a wide range of hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Proactively anticipate and resolve potential technical challenges, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Be prepared for occasional travel (0-10%), potentially with little notice, to address urgent on-site technical needs throughout the country.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive, confidential documentation for all IT systems and processes.
  • Implement and strictly enforce security protocols and best practices across all cloud and on-premises infrastructure, with a focus on data protection and confidentiality.
  • Participate in strategic IT planning and the execution of projects, including system upgrades and the integration of new technologies.
  • Collaborate effectively with vendors, ensuring their services align with our high standards.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the latest technology trends and security threats relevant to high-net-worth environments.
