The Lower Colorado River Authority is looking for a highly motivated and technically proficient professional skilled in remote sensing to join our growing team! This role assists in managing aerial data collection, processing collected data and facilitating system operations. You will play a key role in developing Remote Sensing/UAS projects by working with customers to provide solutions relevant to their department needs. You will work alongside teams across LCRA’s lines of business to carry out our mission to enhance the quality of life of the Texans we serve. As a Remote Sensing Technician at LCRA, you develop geographic 2D and 3D deliverables from aerial imagery and terrestrial scan data. This data is collected using a variety of systems. You also assist with mission planning for these operations. You deliver quality geospatial products such as orthomosaic photos, topographic data, digital models, classified point clouds, and photographic or video files. You'll also gain valuable experience in troubleshooting, digital data creation, project management and contributing to an innovative team collecting remotely sensed data. You will be trusted to: - Produce geographic 2D and 3D deliverables using aerial imagery and terrestrial scan data. - Support mission planning for remote sensing operations. - Develop high-standard geospatial products, comprising orthomosaic photos, topographic data, and digital models. - Troubleshoot and analyze digital data. - Collaborate with diverse teams to successfully conduct remote sensing projects.
