The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining the software solutions that drive our business forward, helping us to continue providing exceptional service to our diverse industrial clients. Responsibilities * Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable software applications that support our core business operations. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and operations, to analyse requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions. * Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices. * Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. * Participate fully in the entire software development lifecycle, from initial concept and design through to deployment and support. * Develop and maintain technical documentation to ensure systems are well-understood and maintainable. * Stay current with emerging technologies and propose new solutions to enhance our software portfolio. Qualifications * Proven experience working as a Software Engineer in a professional environment. * Strong proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript. * Solid experience with relational and non-relational database technologies. * A comprehensive understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of attention to detail. * The ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting. * Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly. * A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is desirable. * Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is considered an advantage.
