JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking new and knowledgeable and detail-oriented Tax Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in tax accounting and financial analysis, with the ability to navigate complex tax regulations and provide exceptional service to our clients. This role requires expertise in various accounting principles and software, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding their financial matters.

EXPERIENCE

Candidates should have a solid foundation in tax experience along with the following skills:

  • Proficiency in double-entry bookkeeping and general ledger reconciliation.
  • Familiarity with financial sales concepts and investment strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills for account analysis and financial report writing.
  • Experience in non-profit accounting is a plus.
  • A background in corporate accounting or technical accounting is highly desirable.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, and non-profit organizations.
  • Conduct thorough tax research to ensure compliance with current regulations and laws.
  • Assist clients with estate planning, wills, trusts, and estate law matters.
  • Provide guidance on financial concepts including mergers & acquisitions, asset management, and private equity.
  • Perform audits and prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
  • Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and other financial tools for accurate bookkeeping and account reconciliation.
  • Analyze financial reports to interpret data for clients’ strategic planning.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of securities law, SOX compliance, regulatory reporting, and public accounting standards.
  • Collaborate with clients on budgeting, payroll processing, accounts payable, and general ledger accounting tasks.
