Description
Uptalent.io, a dynamic platform focused on connecting exceptional talent with innovative companies, is seeking a Remote Technology Designer specializing in Structured Cabling and Low Voltage Systems. Responsibilities Design and documentation of low voltage systems, including: Structured cabling (voice/data networks) Access control Audio/visual (A/V) CCTV / security systems Wireless infrastructure Coordinate with architectural, electrical, and IT teams. Prepare drawings, specifications, and detailed layouts for low voltage systems. Ensure compliance with industry standards (TIA/EIA, BICSI, NEC, etc.). Review submittals and support construction administration when required. RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) certification preferred (not mandatory but highly valued). 5+ years of experience in technology systems design, ideally for commercial, institutional, or mixed-use projects. Experience in science and technology projects including cleanrooms, laboratories, specialized manufacturing facilities, and other spaces with distinct and highly specific requirements. Revit and Cad knowledge Experience with U.S. projects and standards. Fluent in English and advanced communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects independently with minimal supervision.
