TRAINEE MANAGEMENT VOLUNTEERS – UNIQUE LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITY

We run four newly established, not-for-profit Community Interest Companies (CICs):
- The National Community Law Project CIC
- The National Public Education Project CIC
- The National Community Security Project CIC
- One Community Ely CIC
As part of our pilot leadership programme, we are offering motivated individuals the opportunity to join our Trainee Management Team. You will work collaboratively to shape, grow, and sustain these community organisations, while building a strong portfolio of transferable management skills.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Working as part of a leadership team to oversee operations across multiple CICs.
- Developing and implementing policies, strategies, and management systems.
- Supporting and motivating volunteers to achieve organisational goals.
- Gaining hands-on experience in:
- Recruitment & HR management
- Client and service user engagement
- Operational management
- Project development and management
- Financial oversight
- Reputation and community relations
- Team building, assessment, and evaluation

Commitment & Location
- This is a voluntary role requiring a minimum 12-month commitment, during which you will rotate through different management functions to maximise your learning and development.
- The position is fully remote — you will be working online and will be required to attend regular company Zoom meetings with your team.
