POSITION SUMMARY:

• Role: Remote Special Education Teacher (SPED)
• Location: Vermont (must be licensed in-state)
• Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
• Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time
• Start Date: 20252026 School Year Openings

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education
• Valid Vermont Special Education Teaching License
• At least 2 years of recent experience in a school setting
• Comfortable with digital learning tools and virtual collaboration
• Must pass a tech screening to ensure platform compatibility

• Deliver virtual instruction and support to students with IEPs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Monitor student progress and adjust goals as needed
• Conduct virtual assessments and contribute to eligibility and IEP meetings
• Collaborate remotely with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
