SKILLS

  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • Experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver is advantageous.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge for performing routine vehicle checks and minor repairs.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail during removals.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse setting is beneficial but not essential.

  • Operate flatbed lorries or vans to transport goods and belongings to designated locations.
  • Load and unload items with care, ensuring that all items are secured properly during transit.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their removal needs and provide updates throughout the process.
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition, reporting any mechanical issues as necessary.
  • Assist in packing and unpacking items when required, maintaining an organised approach to ensure efficiency.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse environment when not on delivery duties.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations while driving and handling goods.
