About the role The Remuneration and Benefits Specialist plays an integral role in shaping our reward strategy, ensuring it is competitive, equitable, and aligned to organisational goals. Combining strong analytical capability with a deep understanding of employee value, this role supports leaders with expert advice, drives key remuneration cycles, and enhances the employee experience through well‑designed benefits programs and effective governance. Provide specialist advice on remuneration and benefits to leaders and employees. Design, implement, and communicate employee benefits programs that enhance engagement, employee-experience and value. Coordinate and administer the annual remuneration and incentive review processes, including benchmarking, budgeting, and governance. Partner with People & Culture and Payroll teams to ensure WGEA compliance. Support Executive Remuneration Committee processes and ensure documentation and practices comply with APRA CPS 511, including risk alignment, accountability mechanisms, and transparent decision-making. This is a 12 month fixed term contract. About you You bring strong analytical capability and a passion for designing reward solutions that are fair, competitive, and data‑driven. With a blend of technical skill, stakeholder engagement, and an eye for detail, you’re comfortable navigating complex remuneration frameworks and guiding leaders with confidence and clarity. Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar analytical tools. Knowledge of remuneration frameworks, job evaluation methodologies, and market benchmarking practices. Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and manage diverse stakeholders. Understanding of relevant employment legislation and compliance requirements (e.g. APRA CPS 511). Experience working with HRIS and remuneration systems (e.g. Chris21, Oracle). A collaborative approach with the ability to build trust and support engagement across the organisation. Why join RACQ?
