About The Role

Play a key role in shaping how Swinburne recognises, rewards and develops its people. As our Remuneration & Benefits Consultant, you'll provide expert advice and lead the delivery of remuneration, classification, performance and talent initiatives that support a high-performing and engaged workforce.

Working with a high degree of autonomy, you'll partner with leaders across the University to deliver key people programs, including annual remuneration reviews, classification governance, academic promotions and performance and development processes. You'll apply your specialist knowledge to interpret enterprise agreement requirements, align remuneration practices with market trends, and drive practical, sustainable people outcomes.

This is an exciting opportunity for a remuneration professional who enjoys combining strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. Experience working in a university or similarly complex academic environment will be highly regarded, particularly where it has involved academic remuneration, agreed salary arrangements or remuneration review processes. You'll contribute to policy and process improvement, influence key stakeholders, and help ensure Swinburne's people practices remain fair, contemporary and consistent with our remuneration and classification framework.

If you're passionate about remuneration, employee experience and driving meaningful organisational impact, we'd love to hear from you.
