Overview Job Summary: The Renal Specialist Level I will identify the needs and priorities of the dialysis and apheresis patient through assessment. The Renal Specialist Level I plans and delegates care based on patient needs. The Renal Specialist Level I evaluates the patient’s response to care and the attainment of or progress toward expected outcomes. The Renal Specialist Level I is accountable for outcomes of patient care of assigned patients. Qualifications Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required: Education: Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing with current Alabama licensure. Experience: Prefer ICU and/or previous Dialysis experience. Responsibility of the Dialysis staff to give supporting documentation for Renal Specialist II to the Dialysis Unit Charge Nurse.
