We are looking for a highly motivated, skilled and experienced electrician to join our growing team. Assisting with the growth of the companies Solar division will play a major part in your role. Installing and commissioning Solar PV installations in domestic and commercial settings.
Wiring our heat pump and Underfloor heating systems will also be required. You will be required to attend site and technical briefings regarding all thing solar and electrical at the company.
Assisting the heating engineers and learning about heat pumps will be vital as we look to help mould the chosen candidate into an all round renewable engineer. A willingness to help and be a team player is very important to us. Qualifications:

• Experience in domestic heating controls (S/Y Plan) and Solar PV installations. Experience in heat pump installation/wiring would be advantageous but not essential (Training provided where necessary)
• City and Guilds 2330-07 Level 3 (Electrical installations) or alternative evidence of skill set qualification.
• City and Guilds 2382-10 (18th Edition I.E.E wiring Regulations or Equivalent)
• Solar PV installation qualifications would be desirable
• Proven experience as an electrician in residential or commercial settings
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints
• Knowledge of high voltage systems and safety procedures
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamin

Experience:

• electrical: 5 years (required

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment
• Install solar photovoltaics systems including battery storage on domestic and commercial projects
• Install electrical components on heating systems specifically heat pumps.
• Install smart/wifi controls
• Assist with heat pump servicing and breakdowns (Training provided where necessary)
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints- Perform electrical troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues
• Assist with site surveys and technical briefings on all solar projects
• Assist heating engineers with day to day installations (Training provided where necessary)
• Test electrical systems for safety and efficiency
• Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines
• Help grow the solar/electrical department with a view/target to managing this division.
