Job Description This role supports the Power Services team by performing preventative and corrective maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities across multiple solar facilities. You’ll be responsible for field-based electrical and mechanical work that directly impacts solar plant performance, system uptime, and customer satisfaction. What You’ll Do You’ll be part of a team that gets things done, works with purpose, and takes pride in the results. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include: Perform visual inspections of mechanical, electrical, and communication components Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and system communication issues Safely work on and operate electrical systems up to 1500VDC Identify and report safety issues to management Complete work orders daily with accurate documentation Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams Participate in a rotating on-call schedule and respond to travel needs on short notice Work independently with minimal supervision Lead apprentices or laborers when needed Seek assistance from Tech Support, peers, and management when appropriate Navigate monitoring platforms to identify system or performance issues Use Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word Work on rooftops, operate lifts, and perform work at heights Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics (Preferred) Work with DAS/SCADA systems, thermal imaging, solar commissioning, IV curve tracing, and heavy equipment Qualifications What You Bring You’re someone who shows up ready to work hard, learn fast, and contribute to a team that takes pride in doing things right. Successful candidates typically bring: 5+ years of experience in the electrical industry High school diploma or equivalent Strong knowledge of electrical hazards, LOTO procedures, and solar electrical systems Familiarity with fiber optics, network systems, and communication equipment Strong written and verbal communication skills Valid driver’s license with a history of safe driving Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check Willingness to travel regionally with occasional overnight stays Additional Information Pay Range We believe in paying for the value you bring to the team, and we aim to be competitive in every market we hire in. Pay Range: $25 - $35 per hour plus applicable per diem and incentive opportunities.
