The Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Renewables Installation Manager to oversee and coordinate our team of engineers, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery of Solar PV and ASHP installation projects. This is a full-time, office-based role in Kingston upon Thames, where you will play a key part in managing day-to-day operations, project scheduling, and maintaining our high installation standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and lead installation teams, ensuring safe, high-quality, and efficient delivery of Solar PV and ASHP systems.
• Oversee project scheduling, resource planning, and on-site coordination.
• Act as the main point of contact between engineers, office staff, and customers.
• Ensure all projects comply with industry standards, regulations, and H&S requirements.
• Monitor installation progress, troubleshoot issues, and maintain strong customer satisfaction.
• Support recruitment, training, and performance management of installation staff.
• Liaise with senior management to provide updates on project status, timelines, and KPIs.
• Continuously seek improvements in processes, quality, and efficiency.

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience in managing installation teams within the renewables, electrical, or heating sector.
• Strong knowledge of Solar PV and/or ASHP systems (technical understanding desirable).
• Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills with both customers and colleagues.
• Familiarity with health and safety procedures and compliance standards.
• A problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering results.
