Evans Energy have an exciting position available for a working site supervisor. We have a considerable forward order book, so we are looking to expand our present team. The work will be on mainly commercial / industrial premises, with some occasional large domestic works. ELECTRICAL QUALIFICATIONS

-Level 3 Electrical Installation
-Technical Certificate C&G2330 (or equivalent)
-NVQ L3 (or equivalent)
-AM2 (or equivalent)
-18th Edition Wiring Regulations
-Initial Inspection & Testing C&G2391 (or equivalent)
-Periodic Inspection & Testing C&G 2391 (or equivalent)
(Equivalent qualifications are as listed under the Electrotechnical Assessment Specification or as required under the JIB grading scheme for an installation electrician)

RENEWABLES QUALIFICATIONS

-BPEC L3 - Installation & Maintenance of Small Scale Solar PV Systems
-BPEC L3 – Installation & Maintenance of Electrical Energy Storage Systems EESS
-L3 Certificate in Installing Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment (C&G/EAL)

SUPPLEMENTARY QUALIFICATIONS

Responsibilities

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Complete installation of solar PV systems to mainly commercial installations.
Able to install complete PV systems to include testing, commissioning , completion of certification and client demonstration/handover.
Ability to run team of solar installers and electricians to deliver large installations.
Installation of battery storage systems from small domestic to large containerised systems.
Understanding of G99 and G100, installation of control wiring and setting of parameters.
Installation of metering and control equipment from single phase domestic to HV.
Ability to produce reports and certification.
Liaise with clients, contract managers, H&S representatives, DNO engineers using appropriate langue for the relevant audience.
Completion of electrical installations including certification.
Compliance with health & safety, site rules at all times, daily site meetings / briefs, weekly supervisor inspections, excellent time management, ensuring the H&S Red Pack is updated (Internal process training will be provided), overseeing directly employed as well as all other employed operatives. Following drawings & specifications for projects, managing general installation practices along with quality, ensuring that the projects are completed in line with programme, ultimately completing projects by the specified deadline.
Working as a part of a wider cohesive team recognising that whole company works together to provide a premier service for our clients. The ability to correctly communicate with our clients on many levels as required, whilst representing the company in a presentable manner, in uniform provided, with the ability to always communicate in a clear/respectable manner.
