Position Summary:
The Renovation Project Manager oversees residential renovation projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Their expertise not only in project management but also in understanding construction and design principles allows them to anticipate challenges and address them proactively, ensuring a smooth renovation process

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and tracking of renovation projects from start to finish, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Coordinate and manage the work of contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and other professionals involved in the renovation projects.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including all administrative tasks and site activities.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers, ensuring clear communication of project specifications and expectations.
  • Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant building codes and regulations throughout the renovation process.
  • Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including property owners, suppliers, contractors, team members, and local government officials, to ensure alignment and address any concerns.
  • Conduct minimum of 4 walkthroughs site, inspections and assessments to identify potential issues or improvements, documenting findings and making recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Manage project documentation, including permits, plans, change orders, and project reports, ensuring all paperwork is accurate and filed appropriately.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in construction or renovation project management
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
  • Ability to read blueprints and construction plans
  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office
  • Time management and problem-solving skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.19-$37.73 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
