Description

We are looking for a Rental Administrator to support and facilitate our truck & trailer hire operations, which includes curtainsiders, box trailers, double deckers and more.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Responsibilities
  • Answering phones and taking rental bookings
  • Making sure all compliance and rental agreements processed and sent to customers where applicable
  • Chasing and obtaining weekly rental purchase order numbers
  • Entering data on our internal billing platform ahead of accounts import
  • Processing de-hire damage and following customer SLA’s where applicable
  • Working closely with the rental team and reporting to the rental manager
  • To work in conjunction with the Operations team, to ensure short term hire vehicles are road worthy and compliant, and a “ready to rent” approach is maintained at all times
  • Ensure customer Motor Insurance/Operators License all updated on a FOX on a daily basis
  • Ensure that upon delivery of all rental vehicles the necessary paperwork is delivered, and returned in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepare for all financial audits in a timely manner
  • Clear and concise communication regarding vehicle movements, making certain that all relevant departments are aware of vehicle deliveries/collections.
  • Daily completion/audit of the yard list and other yards (minimum once a week)
  • To inform/escalate any rental issues to Group Operations Manager, to find a solution and resolve
  • Sending compliance documents to customers upon request – ensure documents are checked and dated correctly before submission
  • Assisting & Supporting management staff with further jobs as and when required i.e. checking trailers in and out to back up the rental manager
    Reports Directly To: Group Operations Manager / Managing Director
    Salary: £28,000
    Hours of work: Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:30. Plus 1 in 5 Saturdays.
    Holiday: 20 days holiday plus all bank holidays.
    Loyalty Bonus: After 2 years of service (1 day additional holiday and up to an extra 5 days after 7 years).
