It's not just a job, it's a career. We are looking for a Rental and Used Equipment Coordinator to manage the day-to-day operations of our equipment rental and used function. This role is key in helping internal and external customers secure the equipment they need—always with accuracy, speed, and extraordinary customer service. What You’ll Do Assist customers in determining the right rental equipment for their needs. Maintain accurate rental logs, paperwork, and system entries (AS400). Coordinate rental equipment delivery, pickup, and preparation with service and battery departments. Keep rental assets organized, tracked, and ready for use at all times. Accurately quote rental costs, prepare contracts, and document equipment condition (Record360). Perform daily yard walks, track inventory, and share updated availability with leadership and sales. Support used equipment sales—listings, billing, preparation, and delivery. Partner with service, sales, and other departments to control costs, complete preventive maintenance, and deliver customer satisfaction. Pursue new rental opportunities to help grow the business. What We’re Looking For Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to build relationships. Excellent organizational and time-management skills; able to juggle multiple priorities. Positive, “can-do” attitude with a sense of urgency. Attention to detail and accuracy in contracts, records, and documentation. Comfortable with computers and systems (AS400 experience a plus). Knowledge of material handling equipment and customer applications preferred but not required. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with teammates and customers. Excellent organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and customer-first mindset. Proficiency in computer skills; Microsoft Office experience preferred. Strong problem-solving ability and creative thinking. Quick learner, adaptable in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for quoting, billing, and reporting. Team-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in equipment rental, material handling, or a related industry. Knowledge of forklifts, warehouse equipment, or similar machinery. Customer service or sales support experience. Familiarity with billing, collections, or basic accounting processes. Work Environment & Schedule Standard hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM. Flexibility required to work beyond business hours or weekends based on workload. Work is primarily office-based with occasional exposure to mechanical parts, fumes, weather, and moderate noise.
