Description
 PRINCIPAL FOCUS:     Under the direction of Rentals management, the Rentals Consultant is responsible for providing professional, knowledgeable advice and assistance to customers to ensure they rent the required equipment to meet their needs providing service on time with a great customer experience.    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:  * Provision of best-in-class service to customers  * Assess and analyze customer requests in person, via emails or through phone calls and when prepping equipment, to ensure that the best solution is provided for the customer’s needs.  * Stay current on rental products through training, research, and industry engagement.  * Assist with coverage of Photo and Video Sales Customer service as needed  * Maintain a well-organized environment, securing rental equipment and providing customers with a professional rentals experience.  * Work on other various projects and tasks assigned by management.     When Preparing Equipment:  * Prep equipment orders accurately and on time  * Ensure all rental orders are complete, and equipment is tested, and in excellent working condition.   * Accurately update and maintenance rental systems and software     When Providing Front Counter Service:  * Create complete rental solutions through:  * Offering attachments and other equipment suggestions to meet customer needs when appropriate  * Follow up on quotes  * Follow up calls to previous customers to ensure all rental needs are being met and create value added exceptional service     When Providing Client Communications Service:  * Ensure our customers feel cared for in an efficient and timely basis through:  * Timely response to online queries, phone calls and emails   * Timely resolution to customer requests and needs providing recommendations and alternative equipment solutions  * Efficient completion and processing of orders  * Investigation and resolution on outstanding orders.     COMPETENCIES:  * Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with all types of people in a positive manner  * Excellent communications skills both in terms of clear conversational skills and listening/hearing the customer and providing clear information back to the customer.  * Excellent command of the English language.  Bilingual English/French would be an asset.  * Detailed and accurate.  * Ability to multi-task.  * Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.  * Presents a professional image to match the Vistek brand.  * Able to lift 40 lbs.     QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:  * Graduate of a recognized college or university photographic or video program or relevant experience  * Minimum of one year working in an industry environment  * Competent in Microsoft suite  * Comfortable using computerized inventory or other ERP system  * Previous retail experience is considered a definite asset.  * Working on weekends is required.     Vistek LTD proudly supports employment equity and diversity and encourages all qualified applicants to apply.
