Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Rental Operations Intern to join our dynamic team. This position will serve as a supportive role within Butler Machinery performing various tasks related to the day-to-day operations of the Rental Department. This role requires 15–20 hours per week during the school year with full-time availability during breaks.   Work Location: Candidates must be located at, and work from, our corporate office in Fargo, ND. Position is not eligible to be remote.  Responsibilities: * Work with the Rental Business Manager to promote the sale and rent of Rental Equipment * Assist with rentals, sales, and rental invoicing to internal and external customers * Assist the Rental Business Manager with analyzing market opportunity data to develop rental forecasts for each territory * Conduct regular reviews of competitive rental rates to ensure that rates are in alignment with the market while maintaining profitability target goals of the department * Maintain and updates training for the rental business system * Assist the Rental Business Manager with processing rental agreements, reviewing certificates of insurance, UCC filing, manage CAT Rental Store leads, sales reporting, and analytic reporting * Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications: * Individual who is working towards a degree in a business related or other related major in college preferred. * Computer skills essential with experience in Power-Point and Excel required. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Attention to detail and a high level of organization. * Good decision-making skills.   EOE/Vet/Disability #LI-Onsite
