Buller Sports, the premier rental and retail operator in the Mt Buller/Mansfield region, is gearing up for an exciting 2025 winter season! With a total of 10 stores, we’re on the lookout for dynamic individuals to join our dedicated team and contribute to delivering an exceptional mountain experience for our guests.

Positions Available:
We have openings for Rental & Retail Sales Assistants at various locations, including Mansfield, Merrjig, Mirimbah, and Mt Buller. Accommodation is provided for on-mountain positions, while valley employees enjoy flexibility in securing their accommodation and competitive pay rates. Valley staff also benefit from access to a staff bus, car passes, and the option to stay on the mountain during scheduled days off.
Please note there are no sponsorship options. You must have work authorization if travelling from overseas.

WHAT YOU BRING:

We’re looking for individuals who embody the spirit of the mountains and possess:

• Proven experience in the rental and retail industry
• Patience and understanding
• An unyielding work ethic
• Experience with POS systems

• The ability to handle pressure and multitask

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills - (Proficiency in English is preferred for effective communication)

• High regard for personal appearance and presentation

• Flexibility to work varying schedules, including day, evening, and weekend shifts

As a Rental & Retail Sales Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in our energetic team environment, contributing to a positive atmosphere and ensuring superior customer experiences. Your responsibilities include:

• Assisting guests with the safe and correct setup of rental equipment
• Educating guests on equipment care and usage
• Selling and promoting a variety of mountain products
• Supporting the management team in implementing promotions, visuals, and store maintenance
• Identifying and addressing guest needs efficiently and tactfully
• Complying with company, store, and area operational, OHS, environmental policies, and procedures
