Overview Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Customer Service Representative is responsible for scheduling patient appointments and managing the clinical medical records system. The Customer Service Representative will serve as a liaison between patients and hospital staff. Qualifications Required Education: High School Diploma or GED. Preferred Education: Completion of a Medical Terminology course. Necessary Skills: 1. Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills. 2. Ability to handle stressful situation in a professional and courteous manner. 3. Basic understanding of medical terminology. Required Experience: One to two (1-2) years customer service experience. Preferred Experience: Two (2) years of customer service experience in a health care related industry. Age of Patient Served: All Age Groups.
