POSITION OVERVIEW

The Repair and Restoration Technician plays a key role in supporting restoration projects across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. With an intermediate to advanced understanding of carpentry and construction fundamentals, this position ensures that work is completed to the highest standards while meeting both client and insurance requirements.
Working both independently and as part of a team, the Technician delivers quality craftsmanship, collaborates effectively with stakeholders, and contributes to successful project outcomes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare material take-offs, read blueprints, interpret work orders, and apply building codes and construction math to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Perform a variety of restoration tasks, from site preparation through to job completion, across residential and commercial projects.
  • Identify and resolve issues affecting project completion, proactively communicating with the Project Manager to stay on track with timelines and quality expectations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, insurance adjusters, and other stakeholders by providing professional, timely, and accurate communication.
  • Promote a safe and organized work environment by conducting hazard assessments, maintaining job sites, and ensuring proper use, storage, and upkeep of tools, equipment, and PPE.
  • Report and document unsafe conditions or incidents, participate in safety training and inspections, and uphold organizational safety initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
