WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
The Repair of Spares Planner will be accountable for developing and enacting a plan of all Non-Shop Visit (WID) activity requested of EOS, ensuring we deliver both our tactical and strategic items plans.
Engine Overhaul Services (EOS) in Derby is a rapidly growing and a vital part of the Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Network, providing capacity for multiple Trent products, as well as being the ‘Lead Shop’ for Civil Large Engines. This Lead Shop status requires EOS to be the primary source of training and support for the global network, as well as being a hub for shop visit capability.
To meet the near-term increased load demands onto EOS, as well as the strategic capability aims of Aftermarket Operations, there is a requirement for 2 Repair of Spares Planners in the EOS business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accountable for the successful delivery of the Non-Shop Visit (WID) Plan for all activity requested of EOS (repair development, capability etc.) to cost, specification & time.
 - Coordinating demand inputs from across Aftermarket to understand total demand.
 - Work cross-functionally with Operations, Planning & Control, Quality and Engineering stakeholders to deliver the plan and support management and key stakeholders in decision making.
 - Respond to changes to demand/supply and ensure robust commitment acceptance processes established for reprioritising.
 - Coordinate delivery issues, reporting shortages and recovery programmes to meet the customer requirements. Manage the impact and escalate issues as required.
 - Ensure stock in transit and receiving processes are all reconciled by working with relevant stakeholders, suppliers & third-party service providers.
 - To ensure paperwork and information transfer in relation to all material movements is compliant with business and regulatory requirements.
 - Coordinate payment for activities is in place before work is started.
 - Ensure any cost benefit is captured by working with the Cost manager.
 - Work with the Quality and Manufacturing Engineering team to ensure all the technical specifications and documents are in line with capability, regulatory requirements etc. (i.e. Repair Instruction, Release back to service).
 - Ensure continuous improvement of the Repair of Spares process to support the load increase.
 - Be the primary interface and lead operational relationships with stakeholders and coordinate improvement activity associated with planning, delivery and lead time.
 - Act as the focal point for all aspects related to your work with internal stakeholders and external partners.

- Knowledge of a repair & capability environment and understanding of Part 145 regulations.
 - Experience in ERP or Production Planning and Control systems (i.e. SAP).
 - Manufacturing / Purchasing / Logistics and Engineering experience advantageous.
 - Experience of influencing, driving and delivering cross-functional plans at pace.
 - Comfortable working in a fast paced, change orientated environment with competing priorities.
 - Good interpersonal skills, team player within a small team and flexible with business demands.
 - Good understanding of IT (i.e. Kanbanize, Microsoft package).
 - APICS Accreditation desirable
