Please visit www.bruker.com Responsibilities The role of Repair & Refurbishment Engineer / Snr.Technician is to actively run the Repair & Refurbishment Center in Penang. This role is highly technical and problem-solving oriented. With good technical skill levels, this function will cover 100% of in-house repairs by himself/herself with support from production - external refurbishments, will be coordinated and processed by buyers and suppliers. Coordination of workload at the Repair & Refurbishment area. Inspect incoming goods and Refurbish as per requirements. Manage the inventory of returned parts frequently. Coordinate the refurbishment parts, which needs to be done via production or suppliers. Work with Planner to monitor the performance of Refurbishment Center by tracking KPIs. Monitor the stock levels of refurbished parts together with BNS Service Coordinator. Qualifications Degree In Engineering with Minimum 3 years of hands-on assembly and troubleshooting experience; Or Diploma In Engineering with Minimum 5 years of hands-on assembly and troubleshooting experience. Skills & Knowledge Requirements Proactive work attitude Work independently, strong team player, detail oriented, organized, and hands-on Basic computer skills Mechanical and Electrical troubleshooting skills Experience with SAP is a plus
