Description Duties and Responsibilities: • Meet all Assembler I, II and III requirements plus demonstrate the ability to cross train in any operations department • Demonstrate the ability to meet current specified workmanship standards within one (1) day • Demonstrate the ability to do SMD soldering at all levels • Demonstrate the ability to do path repair • Perform all duties with limited supervision • Repair and inspect all units assigned • Inspection includes making sure product is being assembled back together properly; replace minor parts and fix flaws to ensure quality products • Rework all technicians’ broke requests to the best standard and quality Knowledge & Skills: • Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills • Good analytical skills • Very detail-oriented, accurate and organized • Ability to understand and follow work processes • Disassemble and reassemble complete units • Read and understand specifications/ bills of materials • Inspection abilities and quality knowledge required • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines • Able to work independently and as part of a team • Confidentiality and time management Requirements Qualifications: • Education: High school diploma or equivalent • Experience: 2 years’ experience Working Conditions & Physical Demands: • Work typically takes place in a normal office environment requiring: sitting, walking, lifting, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, talking, hearing, and seeing o Handling/Lifting – large/small tools, parts, radios – 0 – 10 pounds o Sitting – 8 hours per day o Talking - communicating when working in repair o Vision – ability to focus – vision to 20/20 or correctable to same o Visually see the part in the size packages 1206, 805, 202 SMD part placement, soldering and inspection can use magnifying devices o Reaching – parts in bins, hanging tools (electric screwdrivers) • Operate a PC and other office equipment • Travel between floors and office buildings may be required • Environmental conditions: noise, vibration, oils, solvents, chemicals BK Technologies Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
