Description Pay $20 and up Responsibilities The Repair Tech assists the repair department by: Touching up and repairing furniture which includes wood, upholstery, leather, and vinyl products. Ensuring that supplies, parts, and required documentation are handled effectively. Assisting vendors with product inspection. Providing detailed information, including digital pictures, serial numbers, and descriptions to the service department for parts ordering, vendor charge backs, reschedules, not at homes, and service times Other duties as assigned. Two year degree in woodworking preferred. Experience: One to two years of related experience. Physical Demands: High physical demands can be required. The employee is regularly required to stand for sustained periods of time. The employee can be expected to lift, push, and pull, both individually and as a team, items up to 150 pounds at times. The employee often operates power tools, including stationary power tools, in a safe manner. The employee must accurately match colors on finishes. The employee must adhere to safe lifting techniques, follow proper training for learned job hazards and ergonomic risk factors, participate in the departmental stretching program, and maintain an overall safe working environment.
