ACR is an Equal Opportunity/Vet/Disability Employer Job Summary of the Repair Technician The Repair Technician is responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and repairing PCB boards. The Repair Technician is expected to document and report on findings associated with the evaluation of aviation products. Duties/Responsibilities of the Repair Technician * Reads and interprets schematics for circuit boards * Sets up and uses test fixtures * Troubleshoots to the component level * Problem solves on separate boards, and boards are installed on products * Tracks, compiles, and presents data based on findings during troubleshooting * Communicates findings to supervisors, quality personnel, and engineers * Repair printed circuit boards down to the component level * Routine testing of boards as a part of standard production, when necessary * All other duties assigned by management * Inspects, operates, and tests products and equipment to diagnose malfunctions * Diagnoses problems and determines how to correct them, checking schematics, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary     Required skills/abilities of the Repair Technician * Proficient in soldering, preferably with SMT components * Familiar with RF design, circuit signal tracing, and signal handling * Must be able to read, write, communicate, and understand work instructions, Quality Procedures, Test procedures, and other documentation/procedures as dictated by engineering and management, which are all in English * Basic skills in Excel, Word, and Microsoft Teams * Experience using a Digital Multimeter, Oscilloscope, Signal Analyzer, and Network Analyzer     Knowledge, Education, and Experience  * Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school * Proven ability to read and interpret drawings or prints   Physical Requirements (if applicable)  * May have to stand up to 4 hours per day ACR offers the following benefits: 1.
