REPAIR TECHNICIAN / DELIVERY DRIVER JOB DESCRIPTION

Chestnut Ridge Sewing is seeking a Repair Technician / Delivery Driver to join our team! Chestnut Ridge is a BERNINA Sewing Machine Dealer located in Millersburg, Ohio. We sell and repair BERNINA sewing machines, offer sewing and quilting classes, host sewing events, and offer a wide variety of fabrics and notions.

• Diagnose mechanical and software issues in Bernina embroidery machines to determine the necessary repairs.
• Perform precise adjustments and alignments on Bernina machine components to ensure optimal functionality.
• Replace defective parts in Bernina embroidery machines, including motors, circuit boards, and other mechanical parts.
• Deliver new Bernina machines to customers, ensuring secure and safe transportation.
• Respond to customer service calls for troubleshooting and repairing Bernina machines at customer sites.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs, including issues diagnosed, repairs made, and parts replaced, to ensure continuity of service and customer satisfaction.
• Heavy involvement in transportation and helping setup and tear down for events.
• Other duties as assigned (we are a small company and it is expected that other responsibilities are picked up as needs arise and capacity allows).
