American Welding & Gas Inc., has an immediate opening for a Repair Technician at our facility in Beaumont, TX! Repair Technician Duties: * For this position, a mechanical background with some electrical wiring background would be great. * Needs to work at heights of 20 to 30 feet. * Capable of performing duties alone at times. * Current driver’s license will be required to drive company equipment to the job site. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Hearing, sight, and smell. * Ability to work according to the demands of the job, which include being on call, physical exertion, stress, working in all types of weather, dexterity. * Must occasionally lift or move up to 80 pounds. Must occasionally lift 50-75 lbs. from floor to waist. * Frequently required to stand and to walk while pushing / pulling up to 75 lbs. * Occasionally required to squat, bend, kneel, crouch, and crawl. * Occasionally shoveling snow and digging trenches.
