Title: Repair Technician Location: Johannesburg, South Africa Key Areas of Responsibility: Perform rework tasks including diagnosing, fault finding and repairing. Test, update and perform low-level repairs. Replacement and rework of Through Hole, Surface Mount technologies. Use basic test equipment such as DMM, Huntron Tracker, Oscilloscope to verify failures and repairs. Meet or exceed personal production targets in line with work assignment while maintaining high repair quality standards Prioritize activities based on production schedule or as directed by manager Accurately maintain and report all required production data Conform to department maintenance and safety regulations to ensure a clean and healthy environment according to company policies, procedure and ISO standards. Qualifications: 0 - 3 year experience in technical repairs in an IT environment Component level repairs and Basic troubleshooting Computer operation (Word, Excel, Outlook) Electronic and Electromechanical skills Basic problem solving and diagnostic skills Ability to read circuit diagrams Communication skills Attention to detail #LI-GA1 Offers of employment are conditional upon passage of screening criteria applicable to the job.
