As a Repair technician, you will play a vital role in our Service team by repairing, servicing and conducting the final inspection of repaired equipment to ensure compliance with Olympus’ high standards.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct quality checks and final inspections of repaired medical equipment, ensuring it meets Olympus standards before being released to customers.
  • Perform inspections independently, separate from the repair function, to ensure objectivity and compliance with Olympus policies, including Endonavi, IISE, TSGG, and Global BOLD policy.
  • Repair and service endoscopes, including diagnosing faults, disassembly, mechanical repairs, and reassembly, following technical work instructions.
  • Provide feedback to Technical Specialists and Team Leaders on issues identified during inspections and offer solutions for rectifications.
  • Service and replace parts as necessary to maintain equipment functionality and reliability.
  • Maintain accurate records, including updating SAP systems, and ensure that all tools, test equipment, and work areas follow 5S standards.
  • Notify management of any quality issues encountered during inspections or repairs and propose corrective actions.
  • Uphold the Olympus core values while maintaining a high level of quality in the repair and final inspection processes.
    Opportunities are available on Afternoon Shift from 2:30pm – 10:30pm. Our aim is to set all employees up for success. This will require a training period of 3 month with all training being conducted on day shift 6:00am – 2:00pm.
