OVER UNILODE

Unilode heeft ‘s werelds grootste vloot van ongeveer 160.000 unit load devices (ULD’s). Dat zijn pallets en containers voor gebruik in de luchtvaart. Unilode verhuurt deze pallets en containers aan meer dan 90 luchtvaartmaatschappijen. Als pallets en containers kapot zijn, dan worden ze gerepareerd. Daarvoor heeft Unilode een eigen netwerk van 50 reparatiestations. We zijn wereldwijd vertegenwoordigd met een reparatiestation op alle grote luchthavens. In Nederland hebben we natuurlijk onze vestiginng op Schiphol. Naast pallets en containers repareren we ook vliegtuig trolleys en netten. Bij Unilode werken momenteel ruim 800 medewerkers. POSITION OVERVIEW

The Technician is a key partner in managing the day to day business at the repair station. He/She will ensure smooth and efficient repair processes as well as make serviceable aviation equipment within the boundaries of the company certification.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • General knowledge of aviation regulations.
  • Ability to interface with computers.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read technical publications and drawings.
  • Familiarity with systems within a production environment.
  • Exposure to quality systems.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Component in the use of hand tools.
  • Excellent communication skills including written and oral English.
  • Flexible, agile, adaptable and self-motivated.
  • Passion for Customer Service.
  • Physically fit with the ability to lift, pull, and push in excess of 65 lbs.
Responsibilities
  • Repair aviation components in accordance with the relevant OEM technical publications and company MOE.
  • Performing any additional maintenance (re-work), which may not have been recorded on the Work Order and was found unsatisfactory during an inspection.
  • Abide by all company and aviation authority procedures.
  • Undertake administrative duties with attention to accuracy and timeliness of information
  • Report discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Meet production targets.
  • Carry out other duties as and when directed, like cleaning containers or pallets etc.Additional duties as assigned.
