Job Description Manage inventory levels for a defined category of goods, including creating order proposals, initiating orders, and communicating with suppliers Monitor and control inventory health, implementing measures to prevent stock-outs, excess inventory, or expiry risks Improve key metrics and disposition parameters related to inventory and delivery quality (e.g., delivery rate, lead time, safety stock) Analyse and evaluate optimal order cycles and other parameters to maximise logistics cost savings and supply chain efficiency Conduct supplier performance analyses and manage relationships to enhance delivery quality Identify and implement process improvements, including system enhancements and automation initiatives Collaborate on cross-departmental projects and assume responsibility for specific procurement methods or warehouse processes Qualifications University degree with a focus on logistics/SCM, operational research, or industrial engineering. Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in dispatching and procurement of large assortments (>5000 SKUs), ideally in the retail/trade sector. Proficient handling of dispatching tools and methodologies. Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken. Strong IT skills, especially in MS Excel. Knowledge of ERP systems and SQL is desirable. Analytical thinking ability. Good basic mathematical knowledge.
