Description The Albuquerque Journal is seeking an Education Reporter to cover the stories shaping our schools, students, and families. If you’re passionate about community journalism and driven to explain how education policies and classroom realities impact everyday lives, this role is for you. What You'll Do Research and develop story ideas by monitoring news trends, local events, and community issues. Write clear, accurate, and engaging news articles, features, and other content. Conduct interviews and verify information to meet journalistic standards. Participate in live coverage of breaking news and events as needed. Ensure all print deadlines are met in coordination with editors. Work closely with editors, photographers, and other team members to produce high-quality reporting.
