* Research, report and write news stories and features assigned by Editors of the assigned Content Pillar. * Support breaking news coverage through quick-turn stories and updates as assigned. * Pitch story ideas during editorial planning discussions and work on them once approved. * Conduct interviews with sources to gather accurate and verified information. * Collaborate with editors and senior staff on story edits and revisions. * Support multimedia storytelling by contributing visuals, basic video or social media elements when required. * Stay informed about current events and trends related to the assigned Content Pillar. * Develop sources within coverage area. * Participate in on-location reporting when required, including travel to cover breaking news or events. * Adapt to tight deadlines and evolving news cycles while maintaining accuracy and quality.
