We are seeking a Reporting Analyst, to be based in Borehamwood 2 days and Stockport 2 days, we are looking for a candidate flexible on travelling.
This is an exciting new opportunity for an ambitious and organised Analyst to come and join us, directly supporting the Managing Director (MD) of the OCU Energy division in building one of the most successful energy transition power solutions businesses in the UK. Initially the primary focus will be in providing business reporting, targeted desk top research, key account management (KAM) support and a first line point of contact for external and internal stakeholders ensuring systematic and accurate communication of operational issues.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in one of the accounting, finance, business process or operational analysis disciplines with proven experience in delivering high-quality reports, knowledge of performance metrics, and identifying opportunities for operational improvement in Governance and reporting. This is a UK-wide role involving regular travel to multiple sites to shadow the MD and work with diverse teams and stakeholders.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is desirable.
  • Proven experience in business administration.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
  • Excellent presentation abilities, with a focus on understanding internal and external client needs.
  • Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, Power Bi, with strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently, manage a varied workload, and take ownership of deliverables.
  • Flexibility to handle competing priorities while maintaining quality.
  • Broad knowledge and understanding of UK energy market decarbonisation, policy dynamics, competitive landscape and customer strategies beneficial. Relevant sector knowledge includes energy, utility, renewables, construction and engineering.
