Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director, Data Operations, the Reporting Engineer is responsible for (a) Creating compelling and highly usable dashboards and reports to support branches across the PRHC (b)Helping set up the BI and reporting standards and facilitate adherence to the same (c) Setting up a highly engaged BI, Data visualization and reporting community at the PRHC (d) Developing, managing and monitoring all organization ETL/ELT processes and procedures

The Reporting Engineer Role must be:

  • An expert in PRHCs standard BI/ Reporting tool – Power BI
  • A creative thinker with an ability to see and understand the end users’ vision, even when initial requirements may be vague or non-specific.
  • Able to engineer new data assets (data transformations) to ensure highly responsive products that minimize performance strain and data security risks using various delivery tools.
  • Inspire and motivate the user group and help with extending the usage of BI, reporting and data driven activities at the PRHC
  • A quick learner and a very hands-on individual with adept understanding of not only industry reporting techniques, but a willingness to develop deep contextual and domain knowledge across several functions and data sources
