Your next opportunity: We are sourcing a Reporting and Insights Manager for a 12-month fixed term contract, to join our team at AIA in either Melbourne or Sydney. Within this role you will be responsible for liaising with business stakeholders to create requirements, design, develop, enhance and implement reporting and insight solutions for AIA Health. You will help drive planning, estimation and varied tasks associated with both strategic and operational business objectives. To do this successfully you will: Partner with relevant Operations teams, Distribution, Data Analytics, Retention, and Product teams to solve problems and identify trends and opportunities Distil large volumes of data, information and/or complex concepts in a clear and concise manner for key stakeholders Validate business demands and document high level functional requirements to ensure the new/modified functionalities address the business requirement Leverage industry and sector experience to bring progressive best practice solutions to AIA Health Managing requirements and briefs from the business, and size the work appropriately to coordinate sprint planning Build Business Intelligence (BI) solutions using Tableau Software & Power BI Provide technical expertise in areas of architecture, design, and implementation Design, develop, conduct unit testing, and maintain Tableau/Power BI dashboards, as well as schedule extract refreshes Design dashboard wireframes with an emphasis on user experience, consistency, and visibility Successful applications for this role will demonstrate: Tertiary qualification in Technology or related discipline Solid domain knowledge within the insurance or financial services industry Strong analytic Tools capabilities (SQL, R) a significant advantage. Strong capability with dashboard tools (i.e.) Tableau, Microsoft Power BI Familiarity with Tableau Administrator/Architecture Knowledge of and experience in reporting systems, data platforms, relational database management systems and data modelling The ability to communicate succinctly and persuasively, both verbally and through written presentations, and influence a broad range of stakeholders A delivery focused mindset and exceptional customer service Strong attention to detail and time management skills Why choose AIA: At AIA, we’ve made a promise to help people live healthier, longer, better lives.
