Description
We’re welcoming 9 interns to experience day-to-day life in Bolt’s Finance department. This is an 11-week paid internship. Got a friend who’s into numbers too? Apply together and make it a summer to remember! About Bolt Bolt is one of the fastest-growing tech companies in Europe and Africa, serving 100+ million customers across 45+ countries. Our mission? To make cities for people, not cars—and we need you to help make it happen! About the Role We’re looking for a curious and proactive Group Reporting Intern to join our Group Reporting & IFRS Compliance team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of technical accounting and innovation. During your internship, you will contribute to two high-impact projects: assessing the impact of IFRS 18 on Bolt’s Group financial statements and helping design a prototype “IFRS AI” assistant to support internal accounting consultations. Alongside these projects, you will gain hands-on exposure to consolidated reporting, accounting policy updates, finance systems, and broader process improvements in a fast-growing international group. Your Daily AdventuresAnalyse the impact of IFRS 18 on Bolt’s Group financial statements and support updates to the chart of accounts and financial statement presentation. Help design and test a prototype “IFRS AI” assistant to support internal accounting consultations and policy queries. Structure accounting knowledge into clear, scalable documentation to strengthen governance and audit readiness. Support Accounting Manual reviews and updates to ensure clarity, consistency, and scalability. Collaborate with internal teams to align accounting logic, systems, and financial disclosures. Gain hands-on exposure to finance and tech platforms such as Workday (ERP), Workiva (financial reporting), Jira, and Confluence. About youYou are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. You have a strong interest in financial reporting; a basic understanding of IFRS concepts is desirable but not required. You enjoy structured problem-solving and working with complex concepts. You are comfortable using Excel or Google Sheets and are curious about how technology, including AI tools, can improve finance processes. You communicate clearly in English and can explain complex topics in a simple way. You are proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to take ownership of defined projects. Experience is great, but what we really look for is drive, intelligence, and integrity. So even if you don’t tick every box, please consider applying! Why you’ll love it here:Contribute to impactful projects and gain hands-on experience to accelerate your professional growth. Work in fast-moving autonomous teams with some of the smartest people in the world. Connect with your team at various events to get to know your colleagues. Receive a competitive entry-level salary. *Some perks may differ depending on your location and role. #LI-Hybrid
