JOB SUMMARY

The Field Sales Representative is responsible for growing and maintaining McKesson Canada’s independent retail pharmacy customer base in Quebec. This role emphasizes strategic sales, relationship management, and territory development, reporting to the Director of Field Sales.

SECTION C- SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Fluency in both French and English (spoken and written).

SECTION D -OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
  • Montreal area field-based role with weekly office visits.
  • Ability to travel for sales meetings and Customer events approximately 10% of the time
  • The successful candidate must reside in Montreal
    The incumbent of this position will provide daily support to internal and/or external clients outside Quebec and/or in the United States. Therefore, he/she must be proficient in spoken and written English. Please note that the number of positions requiring English language skills has been limited where possible.

Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities generally include, but are not limited to:

  • Promote wholesale offerings and programs to drive business growth and strengthen customer loyalty.
  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities in collaboration with finance and sales support to ensure seamless account setup.
  • Develop and execute strategic territory plans to exceed sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including pharmacy owners, pharmacists, and pharmacy managers.
  • Independently manage complex accounts and lead strategic initiatives.
  • Prioritize high-impact customer engagements to support strategic market expansion.
  • Conduct comprehensive business reviews with customers, gather actionable insights, and deliver tailored solutions to support long-term growth.
  • Monitor and analyze territory performance, making strategic adjustments to better serve secondary partners.
  • Represent McKesson Canada at regional trade shows and industry events.
  • Leverage CRM tools to track account activities and manage customer interactions effectively.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on leads and opportunities to maximize conversion and sales outcomes.
  • Provide expert insights on market trends, industry developments, and the competitive landscape to inform and refine sales strategies.
  • Autonomously manage schedules and in-store visits to achieve business objectives efficiently.
