SALES REPRESENTATIVE, DISTRIBUTORS AND CONTRACTORS

HITECH Lighting is a lighting manufacturing agent present throughout Quebec. We are currently experiencing rapid growth and need to expand our team. We’re looking for a sales representative for the Montreal and North Shore territory.
As part of his/her job, the sales representative will be responsible for :

MINIMUM EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Secondary V minimum / ideally DEC in a related discipline
  • Relevant experience will be strongly considered

SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • IES course (would be an asset)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • Bilingual

Responsibilities

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with our distributors, contractors and owners;
  • Organize regular visits to distributors and contractors;
  • Follow-up on projects in general;
  • Take inventory of our products with our distributors;
  • Close orders with contractors and distributors;
  • Good time management skills;
  • Enjoys teamwork, learning and development;
  • Keep sales and marketing management informed of market trends, new products from competitors and any relevant subject;
  • Keep abreast of the latest products and technologies through in-house training, external courses, trade magazines, etc;
  • Promote positive behavior and goodwill towards the company.

MAIN TASKS:

  • Prepare a purchasing program and check inventory with our distributors;
  • Present new products with samples and demonstrate installation techniques;
  • Follow-up on projects in general;
  • Establish lighting proposals.
