Description
Overview This position provides land support to a variety of land matters for Manager of Land as well as for internal departments such as engineering, operations, legal, business development, and pipeline safety. As directed, the land representative performs tasks, supports team’s projects, and supports the planning and organization activities necessary to acquire and protect Company land rights to allow for uninterrupted operation of Company facilities. Responsibilities Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Support the coordination of pipeline relocation activities within the assigned districts Support the negotiations for acquisition of land rights and damage payments Apply experience and knowledge to effectively negotiate the fair and equitable settlement of damage payments to landowners Accurately complete all check forms, statement of payment documents and processes within accounting department to make timely payment to landowners Other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum: Entry-level to 3 years of experience with land and right of way Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and experience Knowledge of negotiation techniques Strong verbal and written skills, interpersonal skills, math aptitude, and problem-solving ability Ability to follow written and oral communications Valid driver’s license
