About your Role:
A person in this position functions under the working title of Representative Payee Technician/Receptionist. This position is responsible for the monitoring of client personal fund accounts to ensure compliance with licensing requirements and accounting standards. Assignments will vary in nature and are performed in accordance with GAAP and established Fiscal Policy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Properly records all consumers’ personal revenue in accordance with Social Security Administration Policies.
Maintains proper accounting records of all expenditures including proper documents and authorization.
Prepares client financial documents and client monthly financial reports
Calculates room and board expenses in order for invoices to be created.
Responsible for disbursement of funds for individual consumer expenses. *Handles all billing, issuing computerized checks, completes tax returns, rent rebates, waivers, deposits and burial accounts. *does that mean paying bills? Maybe we should re-word that?
Processes client check requests, audits client funds; distributes client checks
Act as a liaison for consumers with County Offices, Social Security Office and Program Operations.
Receives incoming phone calls and directs them to the appropriate personnel; takes messages.
Maintains office equipment such as the copy, fax, and postage machines.
Provides general office support, including managing incoming and outgoing mail, greeting visitors, and maintaining office supplies.
Responsible for creating and maintaining a uniform program/fiscal filing system.
Files the following information daily:
Financial
Programmatic
medical.
Create and update client room and board contracts
Responsible for copying the following information:
All programmatic documents
All medical documents
All financial documents
All end of the month paperwork
Training manuals
Responsible for maintaining a neat and orderly appearance to reception area.

$15.50 -16.50/hour; Competitive Pay Rate
Requirements:
Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in a Business related field of study, or technical training from an accredited program in the medical office procedures, or a High School Diploma, OR two years or more of related work experience or any combination of training and experience, which provide the knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position.
Must be at least 18 years of age
A valid Pennsylvania Driver’s license with good driving record
