Description LOCATION: Wayne County Health Department - Wayne, MI 48184 POSITION SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of the Children’s Special Health Care Services (CSHCS) Program Coordinator, the CSHCS Program Representative assists eligible and transferring families with client information collection, benefit enrollment and renewal, and other program-related needs. The ideal candidate will document client data on approved forms in a timely manner and will provide administrative and technical support services to CSHCS families. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Collect and document client information; assist families with enrollment, renewals, form completion, and problem resolution. Maintain client and program records in compliance with HIPAA and Wayne County HHVS confidentiality policies. Perform clerical duties including mail processing, copying, faxing, scanning, and filing. Document services using electronic systems and generate reports as requested. Assist with inventory management and maintain program supplies. Perform other duties as assigned. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with children with special needs and their family is preferred. Customer service and cultural diversity experience a plus. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Participation in required meetings, trainings, and emergency preparedness activities. Proficiency with computers, telephone systems, internet use, and Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to follow instructions, learn new tasks, meet productivity standards, and work effectively as part of a team. ICS 100, 200, 700, or 800 certifications preferred or obtained within the first three months of hire.
